About Rays of Hope
At Rays of Hope Mental Health Services, we offer faith-integrated psychiatric care for adults seeking real transformation—not just symptom relief. Founded by Dr. Cynthia Heck, a dual-licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Licensed Professional Counselor, our practice was created to provide a space where patients feel heard, valued, and genuinely cared for.
We specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and medication management of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and more. Our approach combines evidence-based prescribing with collaborative care that includes coordination with therapists, pastors, and other providers—with your permission. We believe healing happens best when care is connected.
As a Christian provider, Dr. Heck integrates biblical principles into treatment and prays with and for her patients. She sees it as a privilege to walk alongside each person on their mental health journey, helping them pursue not only stability but the abundant life God has for them. Whether through in-person visits or secure telepsychiatry sessions, you’ll receive compassionate, competent, and Christ-centered care.
