One of the coolest things happened this last month.
I reached out to a new business to see if they wanted to be listed in the directory. They were polite, friendly, and we chatted for a few minutes. Then they said, “There’s one problem. I’m not a Christian. Is that a problem?”
I told them, “That is a problem, but it has less to do with the directory and more to do with something much bigger.” That opened the door for a real conversation.
I was able to ask a few questions, listen, and share the gospel with them in a calm, respectful way. I did not pressure them at all about joining the directory, but I did make sure they understood how important salvation is, and how Jesus offers forgiveness of sins as a free gift.
It was genuinely a wonderful phone call, and it reminded me that God can use something as simple as a business directory to encourage believers and share the good news with people who may not know Him yet. 🙏
